This workshop is for families who need a quieter workshop experience and is designed to be autism and neurodivergent friendly.
The Dylan Thomas Centre and WWT Llanelli are teaming up to celebrate Words for Wetlands! Join us for a fun hands-on creative activity, making quills, learning how to make aged parchment, and using both to create a magical spooky spell! Dylan Thomas’ autumn poems will also help inspire us.
Additional staff will be on hand to support families with different sensory needs to take part in this activity.
Everything will be made using a range of recycled, repurposed and environmentally sustainable materials. All feathers used are naturally dropped and collected here at WWT! There will be natural stick quills for those who do not want to use feathers.
This workshop will have a maximum capacity of 24. Please book your free group/family ticket here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/swansea/dylan-thomas-centre
This session takes place at WWT Llanelli. Included in admission, free for WWT members.
