The Sir Henry Jones Museum will be hosting a History Festival this year on October 26th and 27th in Llangernyw  with an exciting line-up of reenactors from different times in history, food to taste and lots of fun for all ages.

The museum will come alive with over 8 different periods in history depicted at the Museum and in the Community Hall just across the road.

From children’s art and craft activities to seeing what the Home Guard were using in the 1940s, visitors can enjoy taking a step back in time at the village while taking part in some of the museum’s most iconic buildings thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Family friendly activities, from cookery demos in the historic Community Centre to bushcraft skills, will be held at the two  locations in the village – plenty to keep the little ones entertained.

Meet the Roman centurion and learn about his life and have a go at being part of the Roman army. Meet the Suffragettes and get a chance to dress up and support her cause. Meet the soldiers from WW1 and WW2 and see the vast array of real artefacts from the period.

And its FREE! Don’t miss it!
